Adriana Serrano is an HR professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Business from California State University, Bakersfield, with a concentration in Human Resources. Adriana started an internship at Jim’s Supply Company Inc. in the HR department and worked as an HR/Safety assistant for 4 years. Adriana is currently a Human Resource Office Manager at the Walmart Distribution Center in Shafter, where she has spent the past 5 years focusing on employee relations, recruitment, compliance, training, payroll and employee benefits.

In 2025, Adriana volunteered on the Kern County SHRM conference committee marketing team. Her volunteer role consisted in creating content for social media and designing various announcements to support the conference marketing efforts. Outside of work, Adriana enjoys traveling and staying active in the gym and is always seeking new opportunities to contribute to the HR field and expand personal growth.
