Isabel C. Bravo, PHR is the third of four children born to Mexican immigrants from the state of Michoacan. She grew up in Delano, California and is a first-generation college graduate. She started to work at the age of 13 years old and has worked ever since. She put herself through college classes at night while holding a full-time job during the day. Isabel graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Bakersfield with a concentration in Human Resources.

Isabel enjoys giving back to her community by being involved with Latina Leaders of Kern County. She has a passion for the Youth Program, serving as a leader and mentor for the senior program for three years. She spearheads the ongoing blood drives at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton for the Houchin Community Blood Bank. Isabel also donates her time to professional groups that help support the advancement of Latinos and Women in her industry.

Isabel C. Bravo is the Director of Environmental, Health and Safety at the Wonderful Citrus Company. She joined the organization in May of 2015. She has worked in the health and safety field for over twenty years. She is a Professional in Human Resources and holds a Qualified Applicators License from the State of California. Isabel served as the first Director of Education for AgSafe for two years. In her roles, Isabel has developed and created several safety programs. She has a passion for working with employees and management in improving safety in their workplace.

Isabel wants to continue working in programs that empower young women to achieve a higher education and to develop and promote within their respective professions. She hopes that her many nephews and nieces view her as a role model of what can be accomplished with hard work and determination.
