Cindy Pollard served as President/ CEO of Cynthia Pollard Communication, Inc from July 1993 to May 2009. As a principal of the public relations firm, she served a broad spectrum of clients both large and small and in the public and private sectors.

She then served in the Legislative Office as Manager of Media Relations for Pacific Gas and Electric and then as Manager of Government Relations for the Central Valley of California.

She held the position of President/CEO of the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce from 2012 to 2014 and is now serving as the Public Affairs Director for Aera Energy. She has more than 30 years of public and media relations, corporate and crisis communications experience, coaching numerous clients and companies on how to survive the glare of the spotlight.

Cindy holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, General from the University of Southern California and a Masters of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of LaVerne.
