Kern County SHRM is accepting proposals from Speakers who are willing to share their expertise without expectation of payment in the spirit of networking and giving back to the HR community. We believe that the attendance and decision-making authority of our audience provides a significant opportunity for speakers to increase their visibility and establish valuable contacts with a targeted HR and professional audience.
If you are interested in speaking at a Kern County SHRM event, please complete the Speaker Registration Form below. All submissions are reviewed by the Director of Programs and the President, and they will follow up with speakers as they are selected or for more information. Please note that we receive many requests and have a limited number of open speaking opportunities.
Topics that would be of great interest to our organization include:
Strategic Management, Workforce Planning and Employment, Human Resource Development, Employee and Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Leadership, Diversity, Workforce Readiness, Business Acumen, Legal, Risk Management, and Ethics.
Speaking Criteria Topics should be:

- Meet the curriculum and standards for:
- SHRM Professional Development Credits
- HR Certification Institute recertification credit
